St. Mary’s Citizens Invited to Submit Legislative Proposals for 2023 General Assembly Session

LEONARDTOWN, MD – St. Mary’s County Commissioners will hold a joint meeting with members of the St. Mary’s County Legislative Delegation on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room inside the Chesapeake Building, 41770 Baldridge Street in Leonardtown.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider requests from St. Mary’s County Commissioners, as well as proposals from organizations and citizens for enactment of laws during the 2023 regular session of the Maryland General Assembly.

Monday, October 17, 2022 is the deadline to submit proposals to the St. Mary’s County Commissioners to be considered at the joint meeting on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Proponents will have an opportunity to be heard at the joint meeting . Please note that citizens may choose to submit proposals directly to the St. Mary’s County Delegation on their schedule.
