PG courses will start at Garoth govt college from the next academic session

Garoth (Madhya Pradesh): Local students will soon be able to pursue higher education at Government College here, as PG courses will begin at the college with the start of the new academic term. Until now, local students had to enroll in colleges in Mandsaur and other places due to the lack of PG courses in the city.

Incumbent Member of the Legislative Assembly Devilal Dhakad has made consistent efforts to ensure that PG courses start at the grassroots level.

The Dhakad MP had written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Higher Education Minister Dr Mohan Yadav in this regard and kept reminding them of the need to start post-graduation courses in locally, whenever he was in Bhopal.

Apart from that, he also discussed the matter with the officers of the ministry.

He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Yadav, for the endorsement.

Dhakad said the approval of postgraduate seats is a real gift for the future of the city as the institution will now be able to provide highly qualified students to the society.

Recently, the Dhakad MP’s persistent efforts to bolster staff at Bhanpura Government College paid off when five new teachers joined the college.

This has greatly benefited the 800 students studying at Bhanpura, as until now the college has operated only with the help of visiting teachers.

In order to provide permanent employees and save the salary of the government, Dhakad had demanded that the aided employees stationed at Sri Harchand College should either be merged or transferred to the government college so that it would get permanent employees and at the same time the government is not overloaded with additional charges. salary. Accordingly, the Department of Higher Education issued instructions on December 28, 2021 to these five employees to work in the government college until further notice.
