End of the training program for APCS trainees

ITANAGAR, November 21: A two-day training program for Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Batch 2020 (APCS) interns, led by the legislature, ended here on Sunday.

Probationers learned about the legislature and its functions.

OSD to the President, DK Singh, who had previously served as Lok Sabha’s secretariat co-secretary, provided training to the 54 probationers.

A hands-on demonstration of the e-Vidhan platform was presented by the President’s Special Secretary, Pema Norbu Thongchi.

Participating in the farewell program, President Pasang D Sona spoke about “the judiciary, the legislature and the executive / administration – the three pillars of democracy – and their interrelationship”.

The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Ninong Ering, shared his experiences as an administrator and encouraged the interns to work with commitment and dedication.

The farewell program was attended by Secretary of the Legislative Assembly Kago Habung, Additional Secretary Tadar Meena, Deputy Secretary Agab Mossang and other senior officials of the Legislative Secretariat.

The inaugural session of the training program, on November 18, took place in the presence of Minister of the Interior Bamang Felix.
